Become one of nearly 100 members of the local Tulare/Kings County chapter affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. SHRM of Tulare/Kings County is an individual membership (not in the name of an organization), membership is non-transferable, cannot be assigned to another person, and must be approved. SHRM of Tulare/Kings County does not discriminate in individual membership based on race, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran's status, or any other legally protected class.
Individuals practicing as an HR professional or interested in human resource management, need to apply for membership using one of the classifications as follows:
- National Member (Choose Free or Premium with option to add pre-paid lunches)
- Local Members Only (has option for pre-paid lunches)
- Student Membership

SHRM T/K membership is significantly diversified, and represents a variety of industries, sectors, and sizes of organizations throughout Tulare and Kings Counties. Membership in the SHRM affiliate local chapter is separate from membership in the national SHRM organization, however SHRM T/K offers a discount for local members who are also members of National SHRM.
As a National SHRM member, you can now enjoy the benefits of being a Local Chapter Member of SHRM T/K at no additional cost to you. Simply designate SHRM T/K as your local chapter when completing your SHRM National registration process. Also, as a SHRM National Member, you can enjoy a Premium membership at a reduced cost of $50. Complete the online application and pay membership dues by credit card via our secure fax (contact the Chapter Membership Director for the authorization form) and/or at one of our events or by check via the mail. Make check payable to SHRM of Tulare/Kings County and mail to PO Box 1044, Visalia, CA 93279.
