Join attorney Faith Driscoll as she reviews the pending laws and regulations for 2024, as well as recent judicial opinions affecting California employers. Attendees will be provided with practical tips for implementing changes in your workplace and communicating them to employees through handbook revisions. Bring your notepad and questions to get the most out of this session!
Topic: This presentation will cover the top 10 most critical bills making their way through the California legislature this year, along with insights into how they may impact your workplace. Additionally, we will cover notable court opinions issued this year, which provide employers with guidance on how to comply with current laws.
About our speaker: Faith Driscoll serves as United Health Centers' Chief Legal Officer, advising executive leadership on the company’s strategic initiatives and providing legal counsel. Ms. Driscoll has more than 10 years of advisory and litigation experience in labor and employment, health care, corporate and board governance, and more. Prior to joining UHC, she worked in private practice advising employer clients and representing them in court, as well as before the ALRB, OSHA, the EEOC, Civil Rights Department (formerly the DFEH) and Labor Commissioner in all stages of litigation. She also conducted workplace investigations, wage and hour audits, and employee training.
