WORKPLACE VIOLENCE PREVENTION
Join us as George Weaver discusses violence in the workplace. You will be provided with an insightful presentation, with lots of information to bring back to your organization. Know what to do in the event of an emergency when it comes to workplace violence. George will discuss areas of situational awareness, how to avoid and de-escalate encounters as well as active shooter and workplace violence response.
Bio: George Weaver was sworn into the Visalia Police Department in February of 2000. He has been in the department for 23 years. During this time, he has taken on some interesting tasks and has gained a ton of experience. Currently he assigned as the Training Officer for the Visalia Police Department. His expertise in active shooter and workplace training is top notch. Some of his other past assignments include: Patrol, Youth Services, Gang Suppression Unit, Rapid Response Team, Firearms instructor, (since 2002) Crisis Negotiator, Active Shooter Instructor (since 2010), and Use of Force Instructor

Also, if you do not attend the event and do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the start of registration, you will be charged the full amount.
