HR Revolution Challenges and Opportunities How to Navigate, Transform and Stay Ahead of the Competition

How to Stay Ahead of the Competition - Balboa Capital

Topic: We live in a period of fast transformations; the human resources strategies are challenged by dramatic changes, mainly in terms of jobs and work force. Human resources departments face significant challenges as their roles become broader and more strategic in the 21st century. The pandemic and the uncertainty it brought ushered in a new reality for work, workforce, and workplace. As HR leaders like to say, the future of work is here. Challenges for the 21st century include, changing roles, shifting demographics, and globalization.

For HR to stay current they must adapt and make necessary changes in retraining, alternative work schedules and technological advancements. Then, these successes must be analyzed and evaluated for effectiveness. The question HR professionals need to ask themselves is whether they’re prepared to meet that future. Because disruption is inevitable in business—it’s how they evolve to meet changing opportunities and market conditions. The traditional administrative role of human resource practices is a thing of the past and new roles for HRM are emerging at an alarming rate in the 21st century workplace. HR now is more than a basic function that involves hiring, training, and retaining employees. It is a key element in developing a workforce that aligns with the 21st Century mission and vision of a business. With increased relevance come increased obstacles. HR must increase its support for business goals and objectives while at the same time becoming strategic business partners.

This dynamic, informative, and eye-opening (one-hour) presentation will explore in a clear term the challenges, opportunities, and implications of the 21st century HR practices. Presented by internationally recognized consultant, trainer, and HR analyst – Munir Khan, where he will discuss these futures, potential risks, how to know if you are in a particular scenario, and strategies to not only survive, but to stay ahead in this global competitive environment.
