Building a Sold Safety Program

Bio: Brian Hampel is a 20-year Army veteran with three combat tours. He was military police, civil affairs, and a police officer for the Department of Veteran Affairs. He has a Master’s Degree in Terrorism/Counter Terrorism. Prior to working for Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency, he was the co-founder of a security consulting firm that offered active shooter training, physical security assessments, traumatic first aid, and emergency action plan reviews.
Brian is currently the Safety Analyst for Tulare County HHSA. He assists in processing Workers’ Comp claims, ergonomic assessments, OSHA-related issues, facility inspections, evacuation drills, and safety training. Additionally, he serves as the Terrorism Liaison Officer for Tulare County HHSA.
Brian is a Visalia native. He went to Golden West and married his best friend, Kassi Hampel. He has three sons, ages 17, 16, and 9.
