Join us for an interactive discussion about Lee Iacocca's 9 C's of leadership. Come sharpen your leadership skills with Martha Fry & Tulare-Kings SHRM!

 Bring your leaders with you!

Please register each of them as your guest or invite them to register.

“Where have all the leaders gone?” is the title of Lee Iacocca’s book about leadership.  Lee Iacocca lists 9 C's as fundamental building blocks to acquiring leadership skills:  curiosity, creative, communicate, character, courage, conviction, charisma, competent, and common sense.

Martha Fry completed a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Organization Development in 1988 while working full-time for the Southern California Gas Company.

Beginning in August 2000 and continuing for 18 years, Martha taught job prep skills as an adjunct college instructor and interviewed supervisors during student internships for the Vocational Work Experience Business Certificate Programs at Fresno City College.

Martha also taught technical report writing and business writing skills to employees at organizations contracted with the Training Institute at Fresno City College.  This month, Martha will begin teaching “Behavioral-Based Interview Skills” for the Training Resource Center at the College of the Sequoias.

Martha has been involved in numerous volunteer activities throughout her career including presentations at public programs for the Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency using children’s literature to teach conflict resolution.

In 1985, she and her husband founded Visalia’s first Adopt-a-School Program to help promote literacy in the elementary schools.

In 2009, Martha and her husband published an illustrated bilingual (English and Spanish) children’s vocabulary-building book titled Squiggles and Samantha
