How to Get Employees to Fall in Love with Your Organization and YOU!

It’s February and love is in the air! If that is the case, why are so many employees breaking up with their employers? In the era of the Great Resignation, it’s not enough to just SAY that you care about your employee’s experience, you must SHOW them.
In this presentation, attendees will learn about the evolution of the employee experience from beginning to end. The following topics will be examined: How to Attract the Best Employees, The Art of Getting to Know Each Other, How to Keep the Love Alive, What to do When You’ve Lost the Lovin’ Feeling and last; How to Consciously Uncouple. Interaction is encouraged, questions are welcomed and fun and laughter is required.
Jeana Brooks is the Human Resources and Communications Director at Proteus, Inc., where she has been employed for over 25 years. She is also known to some by her pseudo name, “Workplace Wonda.”
Jeana received her B.A. in history from California State University, Fresno many moons ago and is currently preparing to take the SPHR certification exam.
It is at Proteus, Inc., a local non-profit serving farmworkers and other disadvantaged populations, that Jeana found her passion to serve. After holding several different positions over the years, Jeana landed in Human Resources in 1999 where she started her HR career as Employee Relations Analyst.
This position allowed her a lot of creative freedom and she was able to create an employee newsletter, internal and external websites, a leadership academy, employee recognition initiatives; along with conducting internal investigations, policy review, supervisory training, etc.
A servant leader at heart, Jeana has had the pleasure to serve and guide the Proteus Human Resources staff as their director since 2016. She has also been able to utilize her love of writing, humor and communications through her Workplace Wonda Blog, Monday Morning Moments articles and videos
