The Interaction of Leave Law

Join us as Candice Weaver discusses Leave Law, and the interaction between different leaves. As one of the most confusing and convoluted topics in HR, you won't want to miss out on the opportunity to have it broken down in a way that makes sense. Bring a notepad and questions.

Candice Weaver has extensive knowledge and experience in Human Resources. As a part of Pacific Employers for over 21 years, she has been a pivotal resource to hundreds of organizations in the central valley. She has appealed many EDD claims, paid visits to the labor commissioner on behalf of other organizations, and has spent countless hours on the phone providing information to employers about the potential liabilities and pitfalls that are associated with any decision made in organizations. She has a vast knowledge of all things HR, but some of her specialties include prevailing wage, wage and hour, and leave law.

In her spare time she enjoys reading labor code and case law. I would say just kidding, but she really does. She also loves spending time with her family, cheering on her favorite football team (The New Orleans Saints), and spending time outdoors.

2021 membership rates will apply. Please remember to register even if you are a pre-paid member.

Also, if you do not attend the event and do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the start of registration, you will be charged the full amount. We are limited to 50 attendees, and it is first come first serve basis.
