An Open Discussion With Monica Story

Join us as Monica Story moderates an open discussion on COVID-19 related issues. We will be discussing real life scenarios and evaluate how employers under similar conditions have handled these situations. From the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) to providing exposure notices in the workplace, we want to to join us in discussion. Bring your questions to the table, and we will discuss it as a group. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.
Monica arrived in Central California in 1975 from West Texas where she was born and raised with Texas pride, love of country and strong farming family values. Monica’s Father, Stanley was a farmer, cowboy, cattleman. Monica’s Mother, Novella was an office administrator and interior designer. Monica is the oldest of 3 girls. At the age of 18 Monica began her first career in the Real Estate Industry that spanned 32 years. Monica held many positions in the Industry until she landed the Sales and Marketing position at Fidelity National Title Company where she excelled and received yearly Top Sales awards for 10 years straight.
Monica has many passions and none greater than devotion to her family and children. Monica has 10 Grandchildren from 22 to 3 years that fill her life with joy at every meeting. Monica is a busy Volunteer and has served as a CASA Child Advocate, Crisis Hotline Facilitator, Toastmaster International Club Leader and is currently the President Elect for the SHRM Tulare Kings Chapter to name a few.
Monica landed her 2nd Career in Human Resources in 2015 and feels that this is due to her love of serving people. “Human Resources is all about devotion to serving others, whether it be the employer or the employee, the vendors and affiliates or the many candidates who cross my path while in recruiting mode. Call me crazy, but I love it.” Monica’s purpose is to be an inspiration, a mentor, an advisor, a coach, a consultant and above all a cheerleader. If it involves lifting people UP , she is into it!!
When Monica is not working, she is playing on RV trips with her family and husband Dwayne or winetasting, reading, adult coloring, embroidery, playing piano, or building sandcastle’s on the seashore and praising God first and foremost for the abundant blessings she has been gifted with.
Monica’s next personal goal…pass the SHRM CP Exam scheduled for December 2020!!

Also, if you do not attend the event and do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the start of registration, you will be charged the full amount. We are limited to 50 attendees, and it is first come first serve basis.
