Employee Documentation: Documenting Situations and Employee Behaviors Properly

November 12th, 2019

Join us for an informative luncheon as Michelle Engel-Silva discusses how to document and evaluate employee performance. Attendees will learn why documentation is important, when to document situations  and how best to do documentation.  Furthermore, they will learn how to communicate corrective actions and what to do if they don't work. Finally, attendees will be provided with tips on how to give a  valuable employee performance review.

Michelle Engel-Silva, ED.D, has been working at Proteus Inc. for 25 years. In her career at Proteus, she has held different positions. She started as a Vocational Instructor, moved into a Program Manager
position, and then became an Organizational Development Specialist. Next she took on the role of HR Director for 12 years and currently she is the Director of Operations for the corporation. One of her passions is training people. She has done several Proteus Leadership Academy training sessions, has trained for the Society of Human Resource Management, and has been an adjunct professor in the Business Department at Fresno State, teaching HR and Organizational Management classes.   She holds her current SPHR certification and has been affiliated with the Tulare/Kings Society of Human Resources group for the  last 15 years. In the past she has been on the Tulare/Kings SHRM board acting in the capacity as Diversity Chair, Program Development Chair, President and Past President..  Through humor and a participatory training strategy, Ms. Silva will engage the audience and facilitate a great learning experience.

2019 membership rates will apply.  Please remember to register even if you are a pre-paid member.  Also, if you do not attend the event and do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the start of registration, you will be charged the full amount.
