Position: Plant HR Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the human resources function for the factory and has a functional relationship with the Ice Cream Division Human Resources Director
POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and deliver HR and Plant strategies by partnering with the Plant Manager and the functional department managers.
* Manage recruitment and staffing for frontline and salaried roles; performance management; compensation administration (frontline wage survey and salaried merit process); training and development; AAP; Talent Management (succession planning; PDG's; APEX)
* Employee relations; policy interpretation; community involvement; legal compliance (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.), overall adherence to Company HR policies and procedures. Management of internal investigations and associate issues that may include interaction with HR Division support,
* Provide support to the associates and factory on HR processes/activities/systems including: benefits administration; associate guidance and counseling; supervisory coaching; oversee Training Plan to include compliance and regulatory training and job specific training plans including overseeing training completion and facilitate training sessions as needed.
* Support a positive employee relations culture that supports the fundamental NCE premise of engagement. Champion the NUSA Blueprint for Success and the Grooves Cultural Drivers. Oversee the Nestle & I Survey action plans.
* Lead the E&T (Education & Training) Pillar. Support all NCE Pillar initiatives and actively participate in NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence) including participation on special FI Team (Focused Improvement Teams or projects); support NQMS (Nestle Quality Management Systems) activities and processes; support SH&E (Safety, Health & Environment) initiatives and systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum of 7 years of Human Resource experience in manufacturing environment, 2-5 years of supervisory experience is a plus. Experience with hourly/salaried associate base preferred.
* Familiarity and experience in recruitment, employee relations/communications, compensation administration (including incentive programs), and leave of absence guidelines.
* Knowledge of basic HR law and applications desired. Knowledge of collaborative work systems and techniques to maintain union-free facilities preferred.
