 This year SHRM awarded their highest honor, the Pinnacle Award, to 8 of the 575 affiliated local chapters. SHRM of Tulare Kings County is honored to be one of those chapters given this distinguished honor. Thanks to all of you who had a part in this endeavor. SHRM-TK is a professional organization with over 100 members and an active Board of Directors. We are one of over 550 chapters affiliated with the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), a worldwide organization located in 110 countries with over 210,000 members. We have consistently been awarded the Superior Merit Award for Achievement, as well as a 2006 Pinnacle Award Finalist. SHRM-TK is also a proud member of the Visalia, Tulare, and Hanford Chambers of Commerce. Our chapter is dedicated to serving and advancing the human resource profession in the Tulare and Kings County area through the networking and promotion of human resource related tools and events.

The Tulare/Kings Chapter of SHRM is one of the most active chapters in California! There are always numerous activities and events happening. What’s coming up:
- CA CERTIFICATION—If you are interested in CA certification to add to your PHR/SPHR, you will want to take advantage of the two-day workshop being held in Sacramento on the Saturday and Sunday of the Legislative Update. Download Flyer
- HR GAMES—The State Council of SHRM is planning the Annual HR Collegiate Competition (HR Games) for 2008. This competition brings together the top HR students in the state in a challenging and fun competition.
