About SHRM of Tulare/Kings CountySHRM of Tulare/Kings County has been formed to serve Human Resource professionals in the Tulare and Kings County areas. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a local forum for members’ personal and professional development; provide an opportunity to develop leadership, managerial, public speaking and group decision-making skills; provide a local networking arena; and to provide a focus for legislative attention to local, state, and national human resource management issues. This organization is an affiliated chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 205,000 individual members and 560 affiliated chapters in more than 100 countries, the Society serves the needs of HR professionals by providing the most essential and comprehensive resources available. As an influential voice, the Society's mission is to advance the human resource profession and ensure that HR is recognized as an essential partner in developing and executing organizational strategy.
